Hand-crafted jewellery and objects that add warmth and uniqueness to your everyday life.
Each quality piece holds their own identity which truly captures the essence of what 'handmade' means.
Characterised by the core brand aesthetic – asymmetrical and irregular shapes that are visually satisfying, Minji, the designer and maker behind the brand uses traditional and contemporary metalsmith techniques to produce jewellery, tableware and homeware in a limited number. Each finely handcrafted quality piece holds their own identity which truly captures the essence of what 'handmade' means.
Minji majored in Jewellery Design and Graphics at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
Metalsmithing has naturally been a familiar area to her as she was grown up seeing her mother’s working as a metal artist in Seoul, Korea and she enjoyed more as she progressed learning at the UNSW. Growing up seeing a lot of medium to large scale sculptures being made with various traditional techniques has influenced her to remain fluid from tiny to large scale works at her brand, Minjimorphic.
Minji will continue to follow her passion in handcrafting both jewellery and object and share her journey with people through Minjimorphic. She hopes that her creations become unique additions to your everyday life.
